Le Bab Bucharest is a Modern Middle Eastern Restaurant
We were founded in Soho London in 2016. Our menu celebrates the ancient cuisines of the Middle East with a focus on kebabs cooked over open fire. Le Bab Bucharest is built on Romanian produce, incorporating contemporary influences from Michelin starred kitchens to define our unusual culinary style. We curate beautiful wines, cocktails and beers for you to enjoy alongside our food. And we create unique spaces to give this all a home.
Stephen & Ed are university friends. They opened Le Bab in London in 2016, alongside executive chef Manu Canales, as a project to approach ancient Middle Eastern cuisine in a modern way. Inspired by the city of Bucharest and the culinary produce of Romania, they joined with their friends Angus Buchanan (designer), Zoran Savic, Vik Salic and Jan van Groningen, to bring their project to Bucharest. They are bringing their unique gastronomic style to Bucharest, with an all-new menu, and a beautifully unique new restaurant.
